Sunflower Scotland send aid direct to the Ukraine. They have already sent 20 lorries and over 200 tonnes of aid directly from Edinburgh to cities in Ukraine. Sunflower Scotland was organised by Scottish volunteers with families in Ukraine. They are sons & daughters helping cousins, mothers, grandparents, nieces and nephews. Sunflower’s point of difference is that they send lorries with aid to Lviv in Ukraine, rather than to Poland. Roads further east are unsafe for lorries. The aid is reloaded to smaller vans and distributed to cities that need it most. Since Sunflower is a Volunteer Association, there are no admin fees. All donations are used either to fuel the lorries, or to buy food.
Waverly Crafts – Lovely ladies who volunteer in Marie Curie donate all proceeds of their work to the Hospice.
Capability Scotland – Art work created the by the charity’s day service users is on sale to raise funds
